Our great friend and colleague Pat McCarthy passed away this morning. Pat was a true Ballygunner legend and will be sorely missed by Breda and family.

Pat will repose in Tom Hennessy's Funeral Home on Sunday from 4.00pm followed by removal to St Mary's Church at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

All in Ballygunner Hurling Club will mourn Pat's passing. He was such an integral part of the club. Our senior players will form a guard of honour in Ballygunner on Sunday. All club members are invited to participate in the guard of honour. There will be another guard of honour after the requiem mass on Monday. May he rest in peace.
